There are many differences between cats and other animals. All cats, from large wild cats to domestic small cats, have common features. Scientists say that the species of cats evolved about 40 million years ago from an animal resembling a pet. By comparison, human erectus, the first person, developed about 1, 8 million years ago.

The first domesticated cats are from early Egyptian people who lived in the Upper Egypt of the Nile. These first domestic cats were appreciated for chasing and killing small rodents and snakes. These pests constantly damaged the grain, which was the main food source for the Egyptians. Cats were an effective way of controlling these pests, so people kept them around.

As humans and cats got to know each other and their fears disappeared, a stronger and closer relationship developed between them. The Egyptian people were amazed at the cat’s agility, their physical and hunting abilities. On the other hand, cats used a safe haven and received food from humans. In addition, the Egyptians were fascinated by the cat’s ability to see when it was dark and to flexibly avoid danger. Cats  typical indifferent behavior also contributed to their elevated status.

The high position of the cats allowed them to travel up and down the Nile River on grain ships. Their presence on ships provided protection for grain from animals such as mice, rats and other small rodents. Under these favorable conditions, cats reproduced and spread thought throughout the Nile.

Cats  abilities and values ​​allowed them to be nurtured as high as the royal members. Soon it was forbidden to harm and kill cats. Egyptian people began to call the cats Mau, as the word resembles a soft sound. This name was later replaced by the word Urchat. Soon the cat goddess known as Pasht (similar to pussy and pussy) was created and the Egyptians worshiped her. The modern cat names that we use today are evolved from ancient Egyptian names.

The Romans kept cats  domestication because they also valued braids for their hunting skills. This allowed the cats to spread throughout the Roman Empire. The fall of Rome marked the beginning of a really difficult time for the seals. Cats, especially blacks, were considered evil creatures and were associated with witchcraft. Thus, they were persecuted and killed.

According to historians, cats are so quickly domesticated because of their ability to destroy pests, their physical flexibility and special behavior. Usually cats are completely independent, but they can also live in families and groups. Although dogs need to be with people and require attention from people, cats can ideally do alone. Cat animals that do not need special emotional closeness or approval.

Cats we know today and as pets have some of the characteristics of their ancient ancestors. Some people do not like cat behavior and prefer dogs. But there are people who value cat independence and behavior and are happy to have a pet at home. Cat owners and dog owners are completely different in their personality because they appreciate different characteristics.

It is not easy to train cats, but it is really possible. There are cat shows where you can see amazing tricks performed by kittens. You can teach your kitten to perform basic commands and come when he is called by name. Many experts believe that cats are trained if they want to do it, and cat owners cannot force their pets to do something against their will.

Another difference between cats and other animals is their agility, balance and strength. Kittens can jump three times their height – something we can’t do. You may have heard the old saying that a cat has nine lives. This proverb comes from a cat’s ability to avoid various physical harms. So it is not surprising that cat times manage to escape from various disasters unharmed.

Cats are unique in that they are able to see at night, their physical strength and flexibility and disability. In fact, cats don’t pretend to care. The truth is that they really don’t care. You may not like this kind of indifferent behavior, but the cat doesn’t care either, so you better take it.
